1940s to 1960s Splendid Rugby Autograph Books Selection (3): A truly remarkable trio, hundreds of neatly collected and curated signatures, either direct to the pages or well-laid down, often annotated, covering Wales stars & complete sides & their opponents from many of their games 1947-1958, plus touring sides to and from Australia, New Zealand and S Africa, Barbarian squads and British Lions from 1947, 1950, 1953-4, 1955 & 1957-8. Terrific historic documents with great, careful team lists (seems like an 'insider's' collection), with a host of club players too, & commentators, earlier caps and other sports' stars, and the odd celebrity - eg Stanley Matthews, Peter West & Richard Burton! Simply too good to miss, with a real flavour of the time. Some wear and loosening of spines, as is almost inevitable, but good or better & so very collectable
