Copland inviting her to attend the award committee to demonstrate her skill (she was awarded the medal, in class 2 for a landscape in oil). Allegorical vignette Isis and Britannia with kneeling supplicant submitting his work of art. Hand signed by Dr Arthur Aikin (1773-1854) who studied with Priestly & specialized in mineralogy & botany. One of the founders of the Geological Society, he was secretary of Society of Arts for 23 years from 1817.
