Ephemera: carton containing a good selection of ephemera including a large qty of printed Acts of Parliament (mainly reign of George III), various measures; an indenture on vellum dated 1720; a souvenir of the Festival of Britain 1951; a group of 19th c photographs, including a group showing the Taj Majhal; two large b&w 19th c photographs of the 2nd battalion the Welsh Regiment; a photograph of an early cricket team; a French newspaper of May 1916 with reports on the fighting at Verdun; a photograph of a mine exploded by HMS Speedwell in 1918; an original typescript of an article written by Douglas Newton on the death of Hilaire Belloc, together with a copy of the American Catholic Weekly Review with another related article and a few other pieces including an 1850 re-write of the National Anthem
