English Civil War - The Declaration of Captain James Hind. 6pp. Small 4to, with engraved portrait of Hind to cover. Originally printed in 1651, but this is possibly a later reprint. However all copies of this pamphlet are extremely rare. Hind, a Royalist commander is considered by some to have engineered the escape of Charles II after the Battle of Worcester. After the demise of the Royalist cause, he became a highwayman, who only robbed Parliamentarians - once audaciously attempting to rob Oliver Cromwell himself.
