1912 United Kingdom of Great Britain & Ireland Olympic Football Gold Medal Winner Diploma, scare and desirable part of British football history, the paper diploma was designed by Prof Olle Hjertzbergs with the Goddess Pallas Athene holding a staff with one hand and lifting a symbol of victory with the other, colour lithograph with areas of embossed gilding, For the second successive Olympic Games Great Britain won the gold medal in the football competition, beating Hungary 7-0. It is not known who received this gold medal diploma but for the record the British squad of: Arthur Berry, Ronald Brebner, Thomas Burn, Joseph Dines, Ted Hanney, Gordon Hoare, Arthur Knight, Henry Littlewort, Douglas McWhirter, Ivan Sharpe, Harold Stamper, Harold Walden, Vivian Woodward & Gordon Wright., framed and mounted under glass #47.5cm by 65cm.
