Shell Travel Posters (8) - fine group of eight original travel posters issued by the Shell Oil Company in the 1950s/60s. Each poster features artwork by a leading illustrator of the time, together with an explanatory text, providing information on either a whole county or a feature in the landscape. This collection contains: Cambridgeshire (with artwork by John Nash), Sussex (with artwork by Rowland Hilder) - both framed and glazed - Hampshire, Somerset, Pembrokeshire, Cardiganshire as well as a guide to Ermine Street, and Shewstern Lane, Lincs. Generally good condition, though there are a few creases and chips. Each measures 280 x 200 mm
