Chinaware Pattern Book - an 8vo notebook containing approx. 55 pages of finely crafted watercolours demonstrating working patterns for a variety of chinaware, including dinner plates, tea plates etc with pattern numbers attached to each illustration. Notes at the back written in a fine copperplate hand indicate various prices for goods produced. The illustrations have been executed in a fine, delicate hand, and it appears that this was a working pattern book for a craftsman to use in producing decorative tableware. There is no indication as to the company involved. No date, but probably early 20thc
