Early 20th c US Golf Instruction Book - Barnes, James M - "Picture Analysis of Golf Strokes - a Complete Book of Instruction" 1st 1919, publ'd J B Lippincott Co Philadelphia (dated 1919 and signed from W B L) in original blue and gilt cloth boards with photograph laid down to cover, with photograph images throughout with reference to the driver, brassie, spoon, cleek, mashie, mid irons, niblicks, considered by today's golf professionals as one of the best instruction books then and even now - some slight shelf otherwise overall (F/G). Note this was the first golf instruction book to rely heavily on sequence photography - as well as using reversed photographs to aid left handers
