1919 S African Rugby Book: Super find, published in Johannesburg after WW1, CV Becker's blue pictorial covered compact 116pp softback 'Rugby', illustrated with plates & diagrams, with history, advice and laws of the game by a man who had a lifelong interest in sport, having captained the 1920 Transvaal Currie Cup team as well as being President of the Transvaal Society of Referees, Vice President of the Transvaal RU, Vice President of the S African Cricket Association and Chair of the Transvaal Tattersalls. He was Secretary of the Selection Committee for the 1906-7 Springbok tour of Europe and wrote about it. Original owner was a Hugh H Dixon, Oriel College, Oxford. Lovely. VG, esp for 104 years old
