Interesting early Thomas Rodger St Andrews Sepia Golf Related Photograph of The Queen Victoria Jubilee Vase - on the photographer's original Cartes de Visite mount - together with gilt embossed calligraphic plaque inscribed "Queen Victoria Jubilee Vase - Presented to St Andrews Royal & Ancient Golf Club - by D.S. Stewart Captain 1886-1887" image 8.5" x 6" - plaque 2.25" x 7" in the original gilt frame mounted with Coronet - overall 17" x 12.5". Note - Thomas Rodger (1832-1883) who studied at the University of St. Andrews and became the first professional photographer in St Andrews who soon became world famous for his images and gained favour with visiting royalty. Note: Golf Collection from "David Easby Estate"
