Rare and Interesting Twyford and Shawford Golf Club (est.1891 - WWII) silver medal hallmarked Birmingham complete with green ribbon and decorative bar featuring a cluster of crossed golf clubs - overall 3 5/8" and comes in what would appear to be the original fitted case by F J Ross & Sons Winchester. Note - During the 1939-45 war the club house was a distribution centre for rosehip syrup and cod liver oil which may have been run by the Red Cross and unfortunately the club was never reinstated after the war to the writer's memory. Note: Golf Collection from "David Easby Estate"
