2x late 19th century Women Sports Library Books: titled "The Sportswoman's Library" in 2 volumes dated 1898 published Archibald Constable and Co., Westminster both in matching decorative boards with gilt titles to spine (some marks and some fading to the spine) each volume looks in depth to all the sports available for women to play to include a large chapter on golf (260-351pp) together with The Golf Rules and Glossary-besides country pursuits other sports included hare hunting, shooting, fishing for tarpon, archery croquet in volume 1 (front free end plate missing) & volume 2 covered yachting, deer hunting, otter hunting, driving, cycling, tennis et al together with "Rules of Lawn Tennis" both books are fully illustrated throughout both are clean internally though there are some pages with some discolouration and some speckled foxing.
