Extremely Rare 1979 International Ryder Cup Special Edition Signed Leather Bound Herbert W Wind Book "The Story of American Golf" - Revised 3rd ed in full leather and gilt embossed front boards featuring The Ryder Cup Trophy, Flags with gilt details inscribed "International Ryder Cup Matches - The Greenbrier - 1979" being the first European team to compete for the Ryder Cup and signed by both teams to the inside front board and front free end plate - each with the players name and signatures and further hand written details of the event and its dates - signatures start with "British-European" team John Jacobs, Ken Brown, Michael King, Peter Oosterhuis, Des Smyth, Antonio Garrido, Seve Ballesteros, Nick Faldo, Tommy Horton, Sandy Lyle, Tony Jacklin, Bernard Gallacher, Mark James, and Brian Barnes followed by the "American Team" to include Billy Casper, Mark Hayes, Gil Morgan, Hubert Green, Larry Nelson, John Mahaffey, Tom Kite, Lee Trevino, Hale Irwin, Lanny Watkins, Andy Bean, Fuzzy Zoeller, and Lee Elder. Also includes the handwritten details of the owner and interestingly with Old Golf Shop Cincinnati Ohio label - it would appear to be unread though the inside front hinge as a small visible split between page the 1st main title page and the following dedication page overall quite stunning
