Scotland - Aberdeen - Hazelhead Park important manuscript document dated May 1840 being the Contents and Valuations of Hazlehead, listing its vast lands, farms etc, approx 18pp 4to, on paper. Written in a very neat, legible hand, listing acreage, names of tenants etc etc. Together with a further indenture on a single sheet of vellum dated 1749 for a property in Aberdeen. Hazlehead Park is now a major local attraction in the Aberdeen area. The estate which has history dating back to Robert the Bruce, was also the home in the early 19th c of William Rose, the Shipbuilder. The estate was gifted to Aberdeen in 1920
