A long sleeved, internal label 'J J Broughton Sports Outfitter Wigan', size 40”, together with Yorkshire County Northern Rugby League Challenge Cup 14ct Gold & 9ct Gold Medals both enamelled to the obverse, one engraved to the reverse 'York 1933 N Fender' after winning the 1933/34 Yorkshire Cup, hallmarked Fattorini & son, .585, 13.7g, the other with no engraving possibly a runner up medal from the 1935 Final, hallmarked Fattorini & Son .375, 11.4g. Plus an enlargement photocard of York RLFC mounted measures 30.5x25.5cm approx. Former property of Norman Fender and comes directly from the family. Norman Fender a Welsh dual-code international rugby player who played rugby union for Cardiff as a flanker and rugby league with York.
