1900 Coloured Golfing Lithograph after Starr Wood - used for the front cover of "The Poster" dated July 1900 No.24. Vol. IV - mf&g overall 12.5 x 10.5". Note Starr Wood was a self-taught artist who first worked at first as a Chartered Accountant in a debt-collecting business in the city. After his first drawing was published in 1892, he turned freelance cartoonist, contributing to many publications including John Bull, Bystander, Parade Humorist, Tatler, Strand, Punch, Fun, Judy et al from 1898 until 1935.
