Note: Luchon golf course is one of the first five golf courses created in France after Pau (1856), Biarritz (1888), Cannes Mandelieu (1891), Saint-de-Luz (1893) and Vichy (1908). The 9-hole course was frequented by an English clientele who, at the time, was enjoying the heyday of the Pyrenees and, particularly, of Pau, Biarritz and Luchon.
