Rare and early Brass Bound Nottingham Wide Drum 3

Rare and early Brass Bound Nottingham Wide Drum 3.25” Winch – with 6x iron pillar drum core with chamfered edges, concealed with removable parchment lining, twin shaped bone handles (see rear of the face plate hairline crack through the handle pin – not visible on the front), iron spindle, solid brass strap back held in place by 4x metal pins and spindle, c/w brass raised peak fitted with an offset brass foot secured by 3x metal pins (possibly shortened) – the drum is held in place with heavy milled brass retaining nut - in amazing condition for reel approx 170 yrs old.
