Barnstable Theatre, Devon 1833 Certificate for one share, un-issued, also stating holder entitled to one Thirty Second Part of the Theatre, & one member of his family entitled to admissions to performances at the theatre for next 60 years. This Theatre opened in 1834 being financed by these 32 shares, became the Theatre Royal in 1860, but finally closed in 1912. As the original small number of just 32 issued share certificates were probably destroyed in later transfers for newer share certificates. This unissued share is likely the only one left available.
