Bill Rickaby Professional Jockey (b.1917- d.1987) – pair of worn leather lightweight racing boots with mahogany tops – worn by Bill Rickaby c/w hand written initials and name to the inside – his career spanned 37yrs riding 1,324 winners in 8x countries, winning his first ride on Boldero at Sandown in 1931 at the age of only 14 (absconded from school for the day) and was the cousin of Lester Piggott.
