Early mid 19th c Angling Book: Phillips, Henry - “The True Enjoyment of Angling” 1st ed 1843, Subscribers Copy one of 100-printed by William Stevens, Bell Yard London, the original green and gilt embossed boards with replaced green cloth spine (corners bruised and some fading - engraved portrait frontis (speckled foxing to both the front and back - content cover the months of the fishing season as chapters (March through September) together with a written a song by the author for each month as well as giving the musical notation and the words – ex-libris private bookplate laid down to the inside front board - slight hinge weakness otherwise clean internally (F/G)
