Season Ticket For Concerts Of Ancient Music 1812 Held in New Rooms, Hanover Square, London. Her name written on reverse, the Subscriber was a Miss Roberts and this Seasons ticket cost her 7 Guineas. Printed on fine quality card, size 3½” × 5”. These concerts were performed annually from 1776 to 1848 and had aristocratic and Royal sponsorship. From 1804 the concerts were held in the Hannover Square Rooms. Thomas Greatorex was conductor from 1793 to 1831.
