United Kingdom – Royal Commission on Vaccination 1889-1897 1st, 2nd, 4th 5th and final reports, in 4x parts with maps and diagrams, covering historical aspects of infectious diseases and vaccination, with emphasis on Sheffield, Ireland, Leicester and dissent on Dr Collin’s and Mr Picton on compulsory vaccination. All lacking blue wraps and disbound, scuffed, 2nd report very brittle. With appendix 3-9, plus fold out maps including Warrington 12” to 1 mile and Leicester 6” to 1 mile and many other maps and diagrams, includes out breaks of small pox in Dewsbury, London, Warrington, Leicester, Gloucester, Glasgow, Liverpool etc 1891 to1896, 7 parts in original blue wraps, bound as one, no covers. Up until this time vaccination had been compulsory with fines for non compliance. Box
