Cyril Pennington PGA Professional Tour Golfer c1960/80s – small but interesting collection of his exploits on the professional circuit to incl photographs playing with of Peter Thomson, informal photographs with Peter Thomson having a drink at 10th hole, team photographs, Winning team photographs overseas tournaments, and many more interesting photographs both on and off the course, trophy, air tickets and schedules around Africa, Newspaper cuttings ref Alcan (St Andrews), The Open, Leading Money winners on the European circuit interestingly comparing it the US where Billy Casper won $20,000 in just one event compared to the total winnings of the leading UK Tour player £4000 in one year – business cards et al – regularly qualified for The Open during the 60/70s - a good honest player with a good solid reputation who managed a career on the circuit – how I’m not sure when you consider all the air travel, hotels etc - eventually became Golf Professional at Trevose Golf Club Cornwall after playing on The Tour
