Rare Sized 3.5” Coxon 3 Spoke Aerial Reel c1899 – ebonite and wooden and brass star back c/w brass check button – copper calliper see-through check – twin horn handles (one slightly chewed at the base need to look hard) spins well - no stamp marks – no chips or cracks to ebonite drum. Note: see Bob Singleton “The Allcock Aerial - A Collector’s Guide” p.34 – “…3 spoke Aerials were not made in sizes above 3inch” made between 1895-1905 – the 3 spoke was discontinued with the introduction of the 4 spoke with tension regulator.
