The Artist Henry Sheppard Dale Born 1852-1921 educated at Sheffield Grammar School. Studied at Cary~s Art School and then at the Slade studied in Italy 1874-77. Exhibited at the principal London galleries from 1878. He Worked for The Graphic 1879-81 and also illustrated several books. In original mount & hand signed by the artist.  dimensions 35 x 23 cm
