1923 Scarce Oxford/Cambridge v Harvard/Yale joint University Athletic match Programme – held at Empire Stadium Wembley on 21st July 1923 ( just 12mths before the Olympic Games) – the Oxbridge team featured Harold Abrahams who dominated the match winning the 100yds, 220yds and long jump which he went on to break the English record 24ft 2 ½ which stood for another 32yrs. – the programme has full hand written results in pencil with times and distances et al – some staple rust ( no bleeding) – one small corner tear and a couple corner creases otherwise very good for its age.
