India – ‘The Storming of Dehli – The Cahmere Gate’ Original Engraving 1857 depicting the troops of No.3 Column inside the city walls, after the blowing of the Cashmere Gate, proceeding up and along the walls as was the case. The 52nd Oxfordshire Light Infantry, 1st Punjab Infantry and the Gurkha Kamoan Battalion were part of the column. This engraving was probably made up from a description or drawing sent from India and as can be seen, took 2 months to arrive, 35x25cm laid to card
