The late Danie Craven (‘Mr South African Rugby’) Statue Replica: 660mm replica of the iconic statue located in Stellenbosch, South Africa, the heart of Springbok Rugby. That (larger, bronze) statue was made by world-renowned sculptor, 92 years old Professor Pierre Volschenk. One of the four smaller resin statues he created was given to the World Rugby Museum at Twickenham and is currently on loan back to South Africa for the Danie Craven exhibition there. This is one of the other three. Extremely faithful and lifelike of the Springbok legend Doc, with a rugby ball and his dog, Bilksem. Clearly rare and of much interest.
