WWII Adolf Hitler Signed Extremely Scarce First Edition 1925 Mein Kampf – Signed with dedication by Hitler to Hermann Esser, fellow inmate with Hitler in Landsberg Prison, a Special Presentation copy - Limited edition copy of 500 with Hitler signature to limitation page. A vellum covered book with gilt embossed to the spine. These copies were only given to the closest possible people to Hitler in the emerging Nazi party. This particular copy was given to Hermann Esser as a Christmas present on Christmas Eve 1925 with dedication which reads in part ‘Hermann Esser the good old comrade on the occasion of Christmas 1925…’Esser (1900-1981) joined the Nazi party with Hitler in 1920 and became the editor of the party’s newspaper ‘Volkischer Beobachter’ and a Nazi member of the Reichstag. In the early history of the party he was Hitler’s de facto deputy. He took part in the Bierkeller Putsch and was excluded from the party for a short period when the party was lead by Strassers. But he was reinstated by Hitler and became influential in the reorganization of the party from 1929 until its rise to power in 1933.
