New Zealand All Black Players’ Match-Prepared Rugby Jersey v England, 14 June 2008, signed by squad: Flanker Adam Thomson’s no. 19 short sleeved jersey with his embossed name, date and venue of match & Adidas and All Black logos, excellent condition and neatly signed to front by the 26 strong squad including Richie McCaw, Dan Carter and Thomson himself. He was selected in June 2008, making the squad ahead of Kieran Read, and debuted off the bench against Ireland, then started in the 2nd test against England a week after this jersey’s date. In 2009 he filled in for captain Richie McCaw, before breaking his thumb. He made his comeback against Australia in the Tri-Nations, was the fastest player over 40m in the 2009 All Blacks squad, was picked for the 2010 early-season Steinlager Series against Ireland and Wales, but not the Tri-Nations or end-of-year grand slam tour. He was a member of the victorious 2011 Rugby World Cup squad, and in total played 29 tests (12 as a sub) and scored 6 tries for New Zealand. Magnificent item with this great provenance. As new except for signatures in silver marker.
