Rare early Lancashire Rugby Cap 1891: red Lancashire shield with three gold lions, date to peak, the cap has A Ashworth’s name to label of the maker, J C Stewart of Edinburgh and Manchester - worn, distressed condition with much splitting of cream velvet and bare end to peak, but much better within and complete with tarnished gold braid and full tassel. but with great, interesting provenance.
