The ferrules and reel seat of this rod have a close resemblance to those used by The Montague Rod and Reel Company. The rod carries a hand-written monogram and a date of 1973, - this and the elaborate wrapping scheme suggest this may be a hobbyist’s re-interpretation of an older rod. CB VG
