A ‘Thank you’ Card sent by Lord Norreys, the eldest son of the Earl of Abingdon, to his supporters in Oxfordshire at the 1837 General Election - when he headed the poll with 3002 votes. He represented Oxfordshire from 1830 – 1852 except for a brief period in 1831/2 when he was ousted because of his lukewarm support for Reform.
