Joe Hardstaff Jnr was born in 1911 in Nuncargate, Nottinghamshire, was a middle order right-hand batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler, excellent outfield, was a member of the Pinxton Colliery Cricket Club and turned pro in 1930.
