1910 Jack Johnson v Jim Jeffries Boxing postcard postmark 1910 depicts a black and white cock fighting, expressing the attitude of many of that period, depicts the white cock (Jeffries) knocking the black (Johnson) to the floor, entitled ‘White swings a right uppercut to the jaw’, inscribed in pencil to the reverse, together with a James J. Jeffries Postcard with ‘We’re Pulling For Jeff July 4 1910’ to the front bottom, postmarked 1910 to the reverse and inscribed in ink, otherwise both appear in good condition (2)
