Scottish International ‘V’ neck shirt, match worn by David Herd in his first international match at Hampden Park v Northern Ireland 5 November 1958. The label to the collar indicates it is an Umbro shirt styled by Matt Busby with the Scottish F.A. badge embroidered to the front. Comes with two black & white photos showing David Herd attacking the goal, David did score the 1st goal in a 2-2 drawn game NB: Matt Busby, at the time, was both the manager of Manchester United and the Scotland national side but this was his final game as manager of Scotland, he was to retire so he could concentrate on his duties at United. .
