Rare Fred Morgan brand rugby cigarette card et al (2): Rarely seen, one example, No. 23, of this scarce set from South Wales foods firm Fred Morgan, featuring Charles Pugh, a Neath RFC & Wales forward. Real photograph in Welsh jersey and cap, with a letter of testimonial to the quality of Morgan’s products to the reverse. Pugh was seven times capped, incl against the NZ Invincibles of 1924 and a smaller Pinnace-style ‘Champion’ Comic giveaway card of England’s Welsh-born star captain and fly-half WJA ‘Dave’ Davies, from the same era – some slight marks condition mixed hence both (F)
