Interesting collection of Nottingham wooden reels (5): to incl an early wide metal strap back with brass foot fitted with 2x metal pins, original bone handles some pitting to the back strap, smooth brass locking nut with silent check plus 4x large brass star backs ranging from 2x 5” down to 4”, one fitted with slater style drum latch and rear brass drum flange and lined back plate rim, another with rear brass drum flange and fishtail star back – all with on/off checks, one face has a grain crack overall (F/G)
