Dam Buster - Wing Commander Guy Gibson (1918-1944) – Autograph – a signed note inscribed ‘Regret No Photograph, sincerely Guy Gibson’ together with a magazine cutting depicting Gibson. Awarded the Victoria Cross Gibson was the first commanding Officer of the Royal Air Force’s No 617 Squadron, which he lead in the ‘Dam Busters’ raid. A Battle of Britain ace who flew many types of aircraft on operations and one of his most famous feats was the bombing of the Mohne and Eder dams, which won him the Victoria Cross.
