Unique 16mm film of David Lloyds Georges visit to Hitler at Haus Wachenfeld in 1936 Black and white film of WW1 Prime Minister David Lloyds Georges visit to Germany in 1936. Between September 2nd – 26th 1936 David Lloyd George and an entourage made a historic visit to Germany including driving along the newly created autobahns and visiting Berchtesgaden. His stay included meeting Hitler on two occasions, alone on 4th September at the Berghof and then he returned for tea on the 5th. Film lasts about 20 minutes and very few copies have survived, the only known other example being in the Welsh National Library where it has been painstakingly restored and transferred to colour. Comes in a 7 inch silver Kodascope film canister and box. A unique piece of history
