ALLCOCK MEDAL: Rare Allcock & Co. Long Service Award hallmark silver/enamel medal, 43mm diameter, silver laurel leaves, stamped “TF & Anchor/Z Hallmarks”, enamel centre with stag logo, reverse engraved “Thomas James Boswell BEM, MM Long Service from 1897-1949”, for 53 years of service, Tommy continued to work for Allcock’s after his official retirement until 1965. Recognised as one of the greatest rod builders working for Allcock’s, Tommy was awarded the British Empire Medal in 1951. The buyer of this medal will receive a sealed envelope containing the story of the life, times and career of T. J Boswell, to be opened by the buyer only.The proceeds of the sale of this Lot will go toward a headstone on Tommy Boswell’s unmarked grave.
