Maurice “Maus” Gatsonides signed motor racing book – titled “Rallies and Races” by Wm Leonard publ’d 1995 in soft back and signed by Gatsonides to both title pages c/w dedication (G) Note Maurice ("Maus") Gatsonides (b.1911 – d.1998) was a Dutch rally driver and inventor. Today, Gatsonides' fame largely results from inventing the Gatso speed camera, which he originally invented to measure his cornering speed in an attempt to improve his driving. He went to win the Monte Carlo Rally in 1953 driving a Ford Zephyr.
