The first at the top shows a soldier crouching down and looking at his vehicle with the title ‘Clean Up, Motor Division, Valdes’. The second, showing a stooping soldier with the title ‘Hand Wash’. Signed ‘Zenzinger’ to bottom left hand corner. Plain on verso but with further rubber stamp of Zenzinger. Overall dimensions approx 38 x 28cm. Note: Roman Zenzinger 1903-1990 was an Austrian artist and commercial designer best known for his intense portraits and sketches of soldiers during World War II. He was drafted in April 1941 into the German army as a war painter with his work regarding soldiers never shown to the public until 2011
