WWI ‘Secret’ Cabinet Telegram 1915 dated 25th September, entitled ‘For the information of members of the cabinet only’, a telegram has been received that a large German submarine was sunk by one of our patrol vessels in the western approaches to the English channel yesterday, one wounded officer and one seaman were saved, Admiralty, SW, and initialled AJB (John Buchan) a single sheet, typed, with paper clips rusting marks, otherwise ok, t/w Typed Letter from the Department of Information 1917 signed by John Buchan (possibly secretarial) to a friend Mr Pembroke Wicks and a shipping resource committee of which Mr Pembroke Wicks is Secretary (3)
