1905/6 Liverpool Senior Cup 9 carat Gold Medal hallmarked, weight 13g, Liverpool Senior Cup Winners 1905/1906. To the obverse it has the Liver Bird emblem with two flags either side, one blue and one red. To the border it states Liverpool & District Football Association and to the reverse the engraving has “1905/1906 Senior Cup Winners J Parkinson presented to W McLachlan”. It is presumed that Jack Parkinson is the Liverpool FC player 1899-1914 a prolific goal scorer and star of the early 20th century team, W. McLachlan was a City Alderman. Everton were the Liverpool Senior Cup Winners in 1905/1906.
