Rare Chingford Made In England 1st model signed Composite Cricket practice ball c1951 – unused and signed by leading England bowlers Alex and Eric Bedser and batsman Bill Edrich – still in the original tissue paper wrappers and makers green baized lined box with hinged lid and front panel – signatures visible but have immersed into the ball. Note consignor was given the ball by a friend of the Bedsers before leaving for the Ashes Series in Australia in the early 1950s which was considered at that time as one of the first composite/plastic balls produced – never been used
