Very Rare Civil War Broadside Poster 1648 Guildhall London regarding Defence of the City of London July 31st 1648 with Coat of Arms of the City of London and ornate initial letter F. Declaring the appointment of Treasurers to accept money on behalf of the Militia of London for protection of the City. “Forasmuch as this Court did apprehend the great danger the Parliament and City is in, in regard of the many Commotions in this Kingdom, and the distractions thereof”. Large black printing, size 24 x 33cm, in good condition minor foxing.
