Medical printed reports of the Manchester Board of Health and Medical Committee of the Manchester Infirmary dated 1796, together with related Manchester items including a receipt from the Manchester Infirmary dated 1800 for a donation via Francis Cobb of Litchfield with appended letter of thanks, an a postcard of New Royal Infirmary, Manchester with a note by the writer ‘This is the infirmary the King is coming to open’ dated 1909. Also included are letters relating to medical cures in Spain dated 1768, a protest at excessive surgical charges dated 1834 and letters relating to the Medico Botanical Society of London dated 1828.
