Ephemera – Lord Liverpool. Invitation to dinner with the prime minister at Walmer castle c1815-20s. Black printing with manuscript annotations made out to Mr H W Brooke. He was a close friend of the Prime Minister, lived at Walmer and frequent guest at the Castle. During the Napoleonic Wars he was much involved with mobilizing French Royalist resistance to Napoleon. On fine card size 4.5” x 3”.  In clean condition.
